Today I took a leave from work to attend the Digital Forensics Security and Law Conference organized by Global Knowledge Philippines Inc. at ESCA’s, Aurora Subdivision, Iloilo City. As an IT Coordinator and a blogger I know that digital forensics is playing a more important role in our society today not only in network security, information assurance but also in law enforcement. Digital forensics covers not just digital evidence, but also the areas of cyber law, sociology, and security. Its increasing importance is reflected in its growing role within crime investigations, civil cases and security.

Yesterday, December 16th was not an ordinary day for the people of the Municipality of Guimbal, Iloilo. After the first Misa de Gallo at the church, Kraft Eden Cheese in partnership with the ABS-CBN Foundation celebrated Keso de Gallo Year 2. The people of Guimbal flocked at the town plaza to witness their town receive 2-Million Pesos worth of prize for being the very first Eden Town.
